4 Introduction: We need your help! Eastern Illinois University has just been given five dinosaur eggs but the Paleontologist is on vacation! These eggs are going to hatch any day. They need your help finding out more information about these dinosaurs. The students of EIU are depending on you to find information about these dinosaurs before they hatch. Can you help them?

5 Task: Oh no, Your dinosaur eggs are hatching sooner than expected. Your group needs to find out about this dinosaur and write a report to Eastern Illinois University as soon as possible!

Students will: go to The Field Museum and see Sue. make a wordle with their dinosaur facts. make a prezi with found information. create a song about their dinosaur. use the dinosaur iPad app and take a virtual tour of the American Museum of Natural History Dinosaur Collections

10 The students will write a story about “A day in the life of a dinosaur”. Students will use the found information to have a better idea on what dinosaurs did on a daily basis.

11 Go the Field Museum Read the Book: Big Book of Big Dinosaurs by Alex Frith Read the book: Dinosaur Cove by Rex Stone Watch the Land Before Time as a class and write an essay on one of the characters
