2 MOEC Membership College of Education, University of Nebraska at Omaha Bellevue Public Schools Council Bluffs Community School District Millard Public Schools Omaha Public Schools Papillion-LaVista Schools Ralston Public Schools Westside Community Schools

3 Scope of MOEC 7 school districts Over 100,000 students (preK-12) Approximately 9000 teachers, administrators, and other certified school personnel 200 schools Approximately 1200 undergraduate students Over 800 graduate students Approximately 65 college faculty

4 Metropolitan Omaha Educational Consortium (MOEC) MISSION: The consortium seeks to improve communication, efficiency, and effectiveness among the participating school districts and the College of Education. It shall enhance the ability of these groups to work together in addressing the common challenges and opportunities of educating youth in a metropolitan environment. Through the consortium the members will achieve together what they could not achieve singularly.
