3 3 V9 Upgrade Update Development: 62% elapsed time through phase; 57% completed effort Continuous resource assessment, moving developers across teams as need indicates System Test Planning: 76% elapsed time through phase; 80% completed effort

4 V9 Upgrade Update Test Move 3 starting 1/7/08. Results will finalize outage window System test environment (WORK1) will be created from Test Move 3. HEWORK1 available for setup @ 2/12/08. System Test 2/25/08 – 5/2/08

5 System Test Teams finalizing test plans for all business processes Utilizing “reusable test plans”

6 System Test Reusable test plans (RTPs) often contain many more test conditions than what is needed for upgrade testing RTP test conditions flagged for upgrade will load to Access database for tracking.

8 8 System Test Central Office Tasks Work with product teams to: Review test plans and approaches by business process and/or product area Identify staff who will participate in system test Review test schedule, dependencies, define staff availability Determine use of UMDB or spreadsheets to track testing results

9 System Test Central office testing will vary by team, but consider: Product manager is advising you when they need your assistance! Testing priorities: Processes needed immediately after go-live High volume/high risk processes Processes that have changed significantly Critical business processes Increased staff exposure to HEV9

10 Risk Mitigation Ensure MAIS is clear on critical business processes Thoroughly tested during system test phase Included in production readiness plan for go-live weekend Strong production support model in place Example: Orientation Plan
