3. The Research Design Service  Funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)  Provides a free consultancy service to support clinicians, academics and service users develop strong proposals to attract funding for applied health and social care research.

4. RDS remit We offer free  advice on developing research proposals for NIHR funding programmes, or other national peer reviewed competitions We do not  support proposals where there is no intention of submitting an application for peer review to a recognised funding stream
