National Institute For Health and Care Excellence – External Assessment Centre (NICE EAC) Partnership between NUTH and York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) –1 of 4 nationally –independent assessment of clinical and cost evidence for novel medical technologies –developing and facilitating independent, targeted research projects to fill gaps in the evidence identified by NICE committees –physiological measurement and diagnostic imaging technologies for the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) and the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) –substantial expertise in regulatory affairs (CE marking) and technology transfer
