3 Deal and LOB registration explained
Deal Registration EMEA based Registered, Preferred and Premier Partners can qualify for deal registration. There are monetary thresholds and partners must register their deal through the portal. “if a deal or LOB registration is approved by Dell, Dell will not proactively engage in direct-sales efforts for that deal or the LOB, as applicable, for the associated end-user account.” Line of Business (“LOB”) Registration This allows “auto approved” Deal Registration for your customers you registered and got approval for. The LOB indicates the products and solutions from the Dell PartnerDirect competencies (example: Dell Security (SonicWALL)). 4 Create a list of your customers
Partners have the ability to create a “Customer List” that they can use and reuse for deal registration. Once you enter their information, it will be available for use again the next time you enter a deal registration for this customer. This is not mandatory but makes live easier. You can add new customers here

5 Now we are ready to register a deal
Go back to the homepage and click again on this link Now click on To enter a new deal registration click on From the drop down list select “Deal Registration” as Record Type

6 Select Deal Registration Record Type
Standard record type to request deal registration Create New Deal from LOB To submit deals for approved from Line of Business (LOB) related to a list that would appear on your profile Deal Registration for Existing End Customer This will auto populate end customer information from your customer list (once you have created the list)

8 Option 2: Create New Deal from LOB – Available to Preferred/Premier Partners
If you have been granted Line of Business (LOB) approval for a particular end customer, this list will appear in your profile. To create a new deal from that customer list, select the customer, then select “create new deal” If the deal falls within the product list covered by the awarded LOB, the registration will be auto approved.

11 Fields assistant All fields marked are mandatory
Mouse over the “question mark” give you hints on completing the field Please make sure you select the correct “Solution Type” as this will then automatically be rerouted to the right people within Dell Every time you add a deal registration your customer references can be saved for later reference and use Ones completed click “Save & Add Product

12 Submit for approval If you are happy with the fields entered you can now click on “Submit for Approval” Next… If a deal is approved, Dell will notify the Partner by . Dell strives to notify Partners of its decision within one to two business days. If a deal is declined, Dell will notify the Partner by , and will include the reason(s) for such decision. At all time you can check the status of the approval
