Quadricep Femoris Group:
Rectus Femoris
Vastus lateralis
Vastus medialis
Vastus intermedius
All these muscles knee and only the rectus femoris also hip joint.
Thus the vastus muscles are knee extensors.

Plantar flexion (point feet down)

Deep to the gastrocnemius
plantar flexion of foot

Peroneus longus (Fibularis longus)
plantar flexes and everts the foot

plantar flexes, inverts foot

plantar flexes, inverts foot, flex toes
