4 Scholarly Information Licensed digital collections. e.g., JSTOR Digitally created materials. e.g., OAC, eScholarship, etc. Other materials created in digital form by UC. e.g., pre-prints, datasets, teaching materials, etc. Efficient & persistent access to information

5 Teaching and Learning Infusion of information literacy into the curriculum. Integration of library resources into courseware systems and other new forms of instruction. Plagiarism Google

6 Scholarly Communication The current methods by which scholarly and scientific knowledge is disseminated and managed is cost prohibitive. Libraries need to collaborate with faculty, administrators, and information technologists to embrace this new model. SPARC ®, the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources CoalitionSPARC ®

7 Collaboration Interoperability with many other campus systems. e.g., payroll/HR, Registrar, remote access, etc. Libraries need to be involved in the planning and implementation of new information technologies at all levels. Research, instruction, preservation, access, and dissemination.
