6 Engineering H193 - Team Project Gateway Engineering Education Coalition P. 6 Spring Quarter 2007 Project Progress Report Some Guidelines for this specific Progress Report –Maintain professional image -- Use word processor, CAD, spreadsheet, etc. Should generally not be hand written, although very neatly done hand sketches might be used. –May be written in either first person or third person –Approximately 4-6 pages in length if double spaced (or 2-3 pages if single-spaced), not counting attachments or cover sheet

Written Report –What has been accomplished –Reference Team Decisions –Reference Design Schedule - Ahead, Behind? Use your schedule and highlight tasks done –Reference Sketches/Drawings (copies) attached –Reference Budget Page (copies) attached –Future Plans

12 Engineering H193 - Team Project Gateway Engineering Education Coalition P. 12 Spring Quarter 2007 Practical Hints for Dealing with Sponsors Never mislead a sponsor Never let a sponsor get bad news about your project from someone else If progress report contains bad news, tell sponsor about it before sending progress report No surprises for sponsor Make sponsor look good - particularly to his/her supervisor

Note – Due to special lectures, there will be minimal time for working on robots in class
