Blogs A Web site that contains dated text entries in reverse chronological order (most recent first) about a particular topic. Blogs serve many purposes from online newsletters to personal journals to "ranting and raving." They can be written by one person or a group of contributors. Entries contain commentary and links to other Web sites, and images as well as a search facility may be included. Blogs may also contain video. http://dictionary.zdnet.com/definition/blog.html

Videos A generic term for a full-length movie or a short movie clip. It can refer to a computer file (WMV, AVI, MPEG, DivX, etc.). Movies can be created in digital camcorders and played on computers without ever being turned into the traditional analog NTSC TV/video format. http://dictionary.zdnet.com/definition/video.html

White Papers This term has historically been used to describe a report that states the social or political position of an organization. In recent years, however, the IT industry has adopted the term to describe articles that explain a certain technology or product. For example, a company may release a white paper to the public in order to educate consumers about one of their products. The terminology used may be somewhat technical, but the goal of a white paper is usually to describe the technology or product in terms most people can understand. That way nerds don't get to have all the fun each time a new technology is invented. http://www.techterms.com/definition/whitepaper

Podcasts According to the New Oxford American Dictionary, a podcast is "a digital recording of a radio broadcast or similar program, made available on the Internet for downloading to a personal audio player," but the generally accepted definition has expanded to include video as well as audio. Originally derived from a combination of "broadcasting" and "iPod ™," the word was declared "word of the year" when it was added to the dictionary at the end of 2005. http://www.bbn.com/utility/glossary/p

Webcasts A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology. A webcast may either be distributed live or on demand. Essentially, webcasting is “broadcasting” over the Internet.streaming media http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webcast
