6. Criteria for selecting a new CMS Because this is our second CMS search, we’re in a unique situation: we know what we are getting into this time around. We know what questions to ask, and we know how to understand the answers.

7. Online Demos We’ve watched demos of over a dozen products We’ve seen a wide range of products, from simple graphical interfaces, to complex folder structures The good news: even the worst product we’ve seen is better than what we have now

14. When will all of this happen? Currently evaluating products Plan to have public demos of “finalists” after Thanksgiving break (week of Nov. 28 th ) Intend to select new product by end of year Plan to begin using it by summer of 2006

15. What Will This Mean for Departments? Will EasyWeb users have to learn a new CMS? Yes Will any current work be lost? No!! Will departments have to migrate their sites? No!! (Web Development team will do that for you)

16. What else does this mean for you? Will the new system really be easier? Yes! From everything we’ve seen in the demos, they appear to be dramatically easier Will there be less screens to click on? Yes!! Will it be faster? Yes, from the demos we’ve seen so far
