Module 16A Developing new 3D cases Estimated time: 90 min

Develop your own 3D cases

Developing a new 3D case 1.Individual idea generation on “exercises that can kick-start a creative meeting” 2.Divide the participants into groups of two 3.Make them present their ideas to each other and choose one the find interesting 4.In the groups they further develop the chosen exercise in relation to (one theme at a time): 1.Task focus 2.No-experienced judgement 3.Horizontal thinking 4.Parallel thinking 5.Prepare yourself to facilitate other participants in the 3D case you now have developed 6.In plenum you team every 2-man group with 3 other 2-man groups. Let them take turns to instruct the others in the team

Individual idea generation Ideas for 3D cases that Is good for starting a creative meeting

Individual idea generation Think of exercises from your: Hobbies Childhood Sports Etc.

Develop your 3D case further So that it contain TASK FOCUS

Develop your 3D case further So that it contain NO-EXPERIENCED JUDGEMENT

Develop your 3D case further So that it contain HORIZONTAL THINKING

Develop your 3D case further So that it contain PARALLEL THINKING

Instruction of 3D cases Lets try some exercises That are bad examples for 3D didactic

Bad example 3D CASE: Circle sending presents 1.Form a circle of all participants looking towards the center of the circle 2.Be part of the circle yourself 3.Now you send presents around in the circle. You should mime a present with your hands before you hand it over to the one standing to your left. The receiver says what he/she gets as a present. Now the receiver mime a new present and hands it over to the one to the left and so on. 4.ONLY ONE PRESENT AT A TIME IN THE CIRCLE. All other should observe 5.You start the exercise by miming the first present 6.THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF A VERY BAD 3D CASE
