17 Food for Thought The purpose of study is to gain knowledge, not earn marks. If you have knowledge, you will earn marks; but the reverse does not necessarily apply If you understand, then it’s easy to remember, but the reverse does not apply It is important to take down what you do not understand in the lecture than to take down what you do understand. Discard your old identity: Being passive & waiting to be filled & directed by the teacher This approach has no value in the new world of high-tech & non-traditional mode of learning That MAGICAL teacher will never appear on the scene
