2 History of the MHTC VirtualOFFICE The MHTC VirtualOFFICE is the virtual meeting room for Mountain Home. Enabling access to updated course materials, up-to-date interactive schedules, and comprehensive tools. It is a constantly evolving site, that will grow, and change when new ideas and innovations are presented. The VirtualOFFICE was originally conceived when Mountain Home and it's corresponding website came to exist. Though the system never manifested until 2000, when the first version of the VirtualOFFICE was created. Though at the time, small and simple, it because a helpful resource. It allowed quick submittal of Quotesheets, and Expense Vouchers, as well as detailed information on training series. In 2002, the MHTC VirtualOFFICE 2.0 was released (See Figure 1.1). A slightly more refined, and accessible version of the VirtualOFFICE. Though it still lacked in some aspects, it was much easier to navigate. Version 2.0 introduced several new tools such as: Team Member Information: A listing of the team members and instructors for Mountain Home. Administrative Support: A central location where administrative tools were located. Expense Voucher: Changes were made to the original expense voucher to increase its effectiveness, and speed up the process of calculating information. VirtualOFFICE 2.0

MHTC VirtualOFFICE 3.0 3 History of the MHTC VirtualOFFICE VirtualOFFICE 3.0 We have now reached the MHTC VirtualOFFICE 3.0 in 2004. The system has been completely redefined, restructured, and rebuilt (See Figure 2.1 and 2.2). From the ground up, we developed a new look and feel, new tools, and new ways to contact everyone here at Mountain Home. Some of the new tools include: Change Password Wizard: A wizard to guide you in changing your VirtualOFFICE login password. Update Profile: The New Profile Manager, enables you to update/change and verify your personal information securely. Interactive Calendar: A new important part of the VirtualOFFICE, the Interactive Calendar allows you to add events to the company-wide calendar, so you can stay up to date with happenings around Mountain Home. File Manager: The File Manager will be a way to navigate through a file archive of Mountain Home including course materials, and project information. Personal Pages: The Personal Pages section will help you get to know your fellow team members better with bios of each person. Expense Voucher and Quotesheets: The Expense Voucher and Quotesheets have been updated so that they can be stored in a database, for record keeping and easy retrieval. Knowledge Center: The Knowledge Center will be a meeting ground and discussion forum for MHTC Team Members, so that meetings can be held from anywhere in the world. Contract Status: The Contract Status section will be a central location to find information on on-going projects, confidentially and securely.

Standard Navigation Menu The Standard Navigation menu contains the same links, on every page, no matter what section you are using. This menu includes: Home Help Log Out MHTC VirtualOFFICE 3.0 6 Features of the MHTC VirtualOFFICE Standard Navigation Menu Context Sensitive Navigation Menu Context Sensitive Navigation menus provide different links depending on the section of the VirtualOFFICE being used. (See example below) Context Sensitive Navigation Menu

MHTC VirtualOFFICE 3.0 7 Features of the MHTC VirtualOFFICE Personal Tools The VirtualOFFICE provides several new tools to help you customize and update things on the VirtualOFFICE. Some of those tools include the following: Update Profile Wizard Change Password Wizard Personal Pages (Bios) Contract Status Update Profile Wizard The Update Profile Wizard enables you to modify your user profile, so that the administrative office can more efficiently keep track of address changes, phone number changes, email changes, etc. With an easy to use interface, the Update Profile Wizard is a welcome addition to the VirtualOFFICE. Change Password Wizard The Change Password Wizard allows you to change your password whenever you need to. It has always been a good security habit to change your password often, and the Change Password Wizard makes it easy to do. Personal Pages (Bios) The Personal Pages are a section of the VirtualOFFICE that helps others within Mountain Home to get to know you. A personal bio can be entered on the first log on, and will be updatable so that changes can be made when needed. Contract Status The Contract Status section is securely linked to only your user ID. The Contract Status tool will enable you to keep up-to-date with submitted contracts, and project information. With security being an integral part of the VirtualOFFICE the Contract Status tools is SSL encrypted with 128bit encryption for you safety. Contractor Tools The VirtualOFFICE also provides several new tools that will assist in keeping up-to-date with projects, submitting expense vouchers, and knowing what’s happening around Mountain Home. The tools include: Online Expense Voucher Online Quotesheet Interactive Calendar Download Master Schedule

MHTC VirtualOFFICE 3.0 8 Features of the MHTC VirtualOFFICE Online Expense Voucher The Online Expense Voucher is a quick and easy way to submit expenses from a recent project. Fill in the fields and click Calculate to total up all the values in the boxes. Once you are finished, click the Submit button to complete the form and have it sent to the Administrative office. Online Quotesheet The Online Quote Sheet is a quick and easy way to submit quotes for an upcoming project. Fill in the fields and click the Submit button to complete the form and have it sent to the Administrative office. Interactive Calendar The Interactive Calendar is an important new addition to the VirtualOFFICE. It enables you to stay up to date with all the happenings around Mountain Home, as well as include your own company appointments through the Event Scheduler. Download Master Schedule As schedules become available, you will be able to download a PDF version of the master schedule through the VirtualOFFICE. Help Features The VirtualOFFICE will now include step-by-step tutorials, and detailed descriptions of the different tools and new resources of the VirtualOFFICE. Also, quick ways to contact us.
