7 Eurostat ESSnet Workshop 2012 Rome Demonstration of the CROS portal Jean-Marie Bolis (Eurostat) 7 Editing your start page: “body” This is where you should describe your project The same text feeds both the start page and the ”details” page… … but only the first few lines are displayed on the start page, so edit them wisely! Unless you’re an HTML enthusiast, the WYSIWYG text format is recommended

8 Eurostat ESSnet Workshop 2012 Rome Demonstration of the CROS portal Jean-Marie Bolis (Eurostat) 8 Editing your start page (cont.) The ”slider module” is the business card of your project – a short text + an appropriate image ( optimal size: 710*320 pixels ) Once you have entered a text and an image, the portal administrator may promote this to the portal homepage to offer maximum visibility to your project

9 Eurostat ESSnet Workshop 2012 Rome Demonstration of the CROS portal Jean-Marie Bolis (Eurostat) 9 Editing your start page (cont.) WARNING: The ”book outline” should normally not be modified for the start page of your project! The results block is where all finalised, approved deliverables of your project should be published (they will then appear in the ”results” column of the ”details” page) Note: Here, you should put in hyperlinks to your deliverables. If you find this too cumbersome, you could put all deliverables as “related documents” on a separate page, and simply provide the hyperlink to that page
