School Closures During periods of inclement weather The University’s offices and facilities may be closed for part or all of a workday Please visit or watch your local news for up to date closure information If the University of Cincinnati is closed, UC Clermont College is closed as well. However, there are some occasions when the University is open but UC Clermont College is closed. Please be sure to listen/look for both.

23 Emergency Text Message
As part of a comprehensive effort to inform our community of any emergencies that might arise on campus, the University of Cincinnati offers an emergency text messaging service UC Public Safety will use the system at their discretion if there is an imminent threat to the safety and security of the campus community or to announce a weather-related university closing The university will test the system quarterly to determine if it is working properly, but you will not receive non-emergency or advertising messages. UC will not sell your information. All students with a cell phone number on file are enrolled in the emergency text alerts, may opt-out. Standard text messaging rates apply.

36 Reciprocity (in-state tuition) is not automatic
Residency Reciprocity (in-state tuition) is not automatic Go to and search ‘reciprocity’. Fill out the required form or your bill will show higher ‘out-of-state’ charges.

37 Health Insurance Coverage
Any student who registers for six (6) credit hours or more will automatically be provided with University Health coverage beginning with the fall semester. If you are already covered by health insurance that is equal to or greater than University Health Insurance, go to by May 21, 2013 to waive UC’s Student Health insurance for the academic year. If you are not already covered by health insurance are not already covered by health insurance that is equal to or greater than University Health Insurance coverage and register for six (6) credit hours or more, you will be charged a fee each semester for UC’s Student Health insurance for the academic year. For more information, please visit *If you are covered by VAMC, please go to UC Clermont’s Cashier’s Office to waive your University Health coverage.

12-18 hours is full-time Tuition is the same for hours credit hours is part-time Financial aid, scholarships, athletic eligibility, and insurance may be affected. Taking 19 credit hours or more will result in a per hour surcharge and must be approved by your academic advisor.
