4 Hamlet, the prince of Denmark, finds out that his father has died and his mother(Gertrude) has remarried his uncle(Claudius) who is now the king of Denmark Hamlet is full of rage when he finds this out and after a visit from what he perceived as his fathers ghost, he becomes convinced his father was murdered by Claudius Hamlet tries to find any evidence of his fathers murder and with the help of his close friend Horatio Facts about Hamlet

5 More important characters are, Polonius- Claudius’ right hand man and father of Ophelia and Laertes. Ophelia is in love with Hamlet however he does not have feelings for her and this ends with her committing suicide Not only is Hamlet struggling with his fathers murder but a rival country is planning on raiding Denmark and taking over Hamlet Continued

6 Claudius soon catches on to Hamlet and plans to have him killed over seas, however Hamlet learns of his plan and escapes death In the end every main character dies and the rival country takes over Denmark

7 Facts About Romeo and Juliet Montague's and Capulet's are two feuding families. The fight is so serious that neither families have contact with the other. Romeo, a Montague, falls in love with Juliet, a Capulet, this causes stress between the two because neither can be seen with the other and Juliet has already been chosen to marry someone else.

8 Romeo & Juliet Continued The two lovers cannot live without each other despite their families differences and try to reason with their parents This does not work and Juliet decides to fake her own death so that her and Romeo can run away together, however Romeo does not get word that she is faking and believes she is really dead He buys poison and goes to her tomb to kill himself so he can die with her. After he takes the poison Juliet wakes up but it is too late. Juliet, not being able to live without Romeo, stabs herself and the two youths die together.

9 Facts About Julius Caesar Julius Caesar is a political leader of Rome and he wishes to become a dictator. He is warned that he must "beware the Ides of March". The prophecy comes true when he is killed by his own friend Brutus. This is where the famous line “Et tu Brute?” comes from which means, “ you too Brutus?”

10 Facts About Macbeth Macbeth hears a prophecy that he will soon be king but instead of waiting for the natural courses he takes the situation into his own hands and kills the king himself He kills the guards and blames them for the kings death Macbeth becomes more and suspicious of people trying to take the crown from him that he hires a hit man to kill multiple people that he feels are suspicious

11 Macbeth Continued His wife helps him in the act but soon goes mad and is convinced that the blood is still on her hands and will not come off. In the end Macbeth is killed by Macduff and he then becomes king
