8. The design specification The product should be controlled by a picaxe- 20M microcontroller It should include five LEDs,to show weather the alarm is turned on and which sensor has been activated. It should include an off/on switch and a download socket, so that it can be reprogrammed to turn it on and then off again after. The total cost of the parts used can be anything from less then £100 or more if you want a newer one if you wish. The product must be suitable for one-off production. The product should be linked to two contact sensors and two motion sensors, using multi-core wire. There must be no sharp edges on the enclosures. The PCB,siren and batteries must be secured within the closure so that they cannot move around. It should include a relay to operate a siren, which can be heard up to 30 metres away. It should be positive be open both enclosures to change the batteries.however,it must be positive to close them to prevent water entering. It needs to be able to have sound so you know when it needs to go off, Making it work and make you aware.
