10 PE UNIFORMS Last name clearly labeled on shorts and shirts. Shirts must be worn tucked in. Shoes tied.

13 NO EXCEPTIONS! No cell phones, ipods, cameras, or any other electronic recording devices are allowed in the locker rooms or in class. You must keep these devices in your hall locker! You may be sent back to your locker & counted tardy if you enter the locker room or gym with any of these items. We may confiscate your item and have you pick it up in the main office after school. NO

14 Follow the 5 P’s… Prompt Be in the locker room when class starts. Be in your roll call spot at the beginning of class. Prepared Wear your PE uniform everyday. Shirt tucked in and shoes tied. No Gum! NO cell phones or other electronic devices. PoliteTreat others the way you want to be treated. Listen while a teacher or another student is speaking. Exhibit Good Sportsmanship (positive comments & actions). Wait for your turn – no line cutting. ProductiveBe actively involved in all class activities. Actively & independently participate in FAB 5 activities. PrideAlways do your best! Class Expectations Physical Education

15 Daily Physical Education at BTMS FAB 5 routine during attendance (dependent on teacher) Includes a 5-10 minute warm-up activity followed by an individual, team or life- time sport activity. Includes six weeks of Health

16 FAB 5 Routine during attendance Physical Education at BTMS 5 push-ups 5 sit-ups 5 lunges (both legs) 5 star jumps 5 spinal balance (bird dog pose) REPEAT FAB 5 until you are told to stop! Not all classes will participate in this activity

17 Grading during Physical Education 5 points possible for PE Warm-ups + 5 points possible for PE Daily Activity __________________________________________ = 10 points possible per day in PE Work hard to earn an A !

18 Grading during Physical Education You will not be graded entirely on your skill or ability = effort matters! Fitness tests will be graded on whether or not you meet minimum Health standards Effort toward improvement is important! You will be graded based on whether or not you follow all 5 P’s Everyone could and should earn an “A” in this class. Work hard to earn an A !

19 How to earn a perfect 10 for the day during PE Follow all 5 P’s without reminders. Work to the best of your abilities. You will lose daily points for not following the 5 P’s or if you do not work to the best of your abilities. “A” students come to class prepared and work hard!

20 Something to consider Your grades earned during Health class will help or hurt your overall grade in this class. We will discuss specific expectations for Health the first day of Health. “A” students come to class prepared and work hard!

Chewing Gum = 7 points Non-suit = 6 points Partial non-suit = 8 points Tardy to locker room = 8 points Tardy to locker room & roll call spot = 6 points _________ 35/50 70% C- If you do not follow the 5 P’s your grade will suffer! You all could and should be “A” students in this class!
