5 What We Have Done General Marketing Ensure key administrators know your group Use their news channels to post recruitment material Post flyers Attend student involvement fairs Specific Marketing Visit student organizations that cater your target group Visit Classes Reach out to specific students 5 Interviews Confront students on their ability to interact with various types of people You need students that can talk to clients, administrators, and community leaders all in the same day Look closely at students who do not have a traditional business background

9 Conclusion There are minorities and women that are highly capable It’s up to you to make sure students know about your organization The recruiting director should be aware of the impact on recruiting efforts Answer the question if your group is meant to impact students or impact the community 9
