How Many Meanings Can We Make? 1.You’ve seen motivational posters before, right? 2.Now’s your chance: your task is to make your own meanings from pictures, and to display them proudly on the wall for all to ponder and learn from. 3.Your group has 10 pictures. Talk amongst yourselves about what would be deep, meaningful statements about life that could go along with the pictures, and once you’ve reached consensus, write your meaning below the picture. 4.Try to mix it up: One could be serious, one could be humorous; one might be negative and cynical; one might be positive and hopeful. 5.If you finish early, you clever students, see how many more meanings you can come up with!
