1 FISH and CHIPS by Elisabeth, Gaia and Virginia

2 Ingredients:  -250 gr. boneless fish (cod fillet)  -250 gr. potatoes  -50 gr. plain flour  -1 egg, lightly beaten  -1 glass sparkling water  -half teaspoon baking powder  -vegetable oil  -a spoon vinegar  You need:  bowls  A whisk  Non-stick pan

3 Preparation:  wash and dry the fish  slice the fish  peel and chop the potatoes  put the flour in the bowl  in a second bowl, beat the yeast with a spoon of vinegar

4  break the egg into another bowl  add a pinch of salt  whisk to combine them  place the fish in the flour  shake off any excess  dip the fish in the batter  then in the bread crumb mixture

5  fry the potatoes in the oil  in another pan, fry the fish for 3-4 minutes  drain on kitchen towel

6 Enjoy your fish and chips!!!!
