Coordinate and manage the activities conducted by the Leadership and Mentoring programs (LAMP) Group. Oversee the annual election activities within each Technical Group. Enhance cooperation with organizations like IEEE, corporate diversity organizations and other technical / business communities. Expand the technical network with the outstanding professionals in US and the world to build strong technical program. Showcase CIE programs to the leaders of the community and major corporations at the Convention. Set goals and execute fund raising plans. Provide opportunity to identify future CIE leaders. 16 www.cie-dfw.org Roles – VP Treasurer Maintain all transactions for CIE bank accounts (check and CD); Prepare the tax return. Send monthly financial reports for internal auditing Process expense reimbursement; ensure all expenses have president’s approval and original receipts. Cooperate with the Chair of Membership to ensure membership is activated whenever the fee is received. Send out invoices for expected income; provide receipts for donations. Assist the president with all CIE-related financial issues. Officer Roles and 2010 Goals

17 www.cie-dfw.org Establish a more efficient expense reimbursement process. Improve the accuracy of membership records. Maintain the integrity of the organization’s financial system and the officers (volunteers) responsible for handling the finance.
