Unconscious Forces Amygdala is deep in the middle of the brain; storing emotionally charged unconscious memories. Our brain unconsciously relates past experiences with new experiences causing bad choices.

What significant adults in our lives said to us through… -attributions- tell us how we “are” or “should be” -Injunctions- what we are not 3.Observing behavior of important adults in our lives. In some circumstances; our environment as children set us up to write self-defeating unconscious scripts

Tips To Test Successfully True/False- Unconditional Word: False Conditional Word: True Pure Guess: Choose True Multiple Choice- Read carefully Cross out obvious incorrect answers If two or more answers are correct choose “Above All” Fill-In-The-Blank- Always write something Does it work grammatically and make sense Short-Answer & Essay- Underline guide word and topic (ex. Describe advantages of test-smart plan) Support details with evidence, explanation and experiences End with a wrap-up sentence Proofread
