2 Membership As of January 2011, Georgia FCCLA has: # of members 24,019 # of chapters 240 1 Urban Affiliation (Dekalb County) with 25 school and 4,928 members & 13 Middle Level Affiliations *You may affiliate up until May 31 *State Awards for Largest Standard Affiliation and Largest Membership Increase per Region

To receive recognition, check MUST be sent to: CMN, Attn. 24 New Events for 2011 Online Proficiency Tests –March 28-April 1 You can test students at different points throughout the week but members competing in the same event MUST take their test at the same time. Your proctor must be present for every testing period. It would work out best to pick a set time or two for students to test. Do not wait until the last day in case you experience technical problems. A student can only take one test, but you can have several students taking the same test. STAR Events and State Events competitors may take these tests for recognition! TOP 3 will be recognized on stage at State Meeting

25 Online Proficiency Events: Knowledge Tests Consumer Services: Consumer Awareness Nutrition & Food Science: Food and Nutrition through the Lifespan Interior Design: Foundations of Interior Design Middle School: Family and Consumer Sciences Culinary Arts: Introduction to Culinary Arts Early Childhood Education: Human Growth & Development for Early Childhood Teaching as a Profession: Examining the Teaching Profession Cost The cost for a member to take an online proficiency test is only $5.00. This cost covers online registration fees and awards.

26 Georgia FCCLA Foundation Purpose is to seek sponsors to help fund the cost of National Leadership Conference for State STAR Event Winners In 2010 the Georgia FCCLA Foundation, funded 102 competitors to attend and compete in Chicago, IL Upcoming Events: Dance-A-Thon at State Meeting 3rd Annual Cookbook on sale NOW $15.00 FCCLA Day at the Hawks - February 8th Future Planning: Foundation Charity Gold Tournament
