7. Lots of Books & Computers © Central Institute of Technology 2011 As well as books, journals, newspapers, CDs and DVDs; there are many computers available for students for study purposes.

8. Computers are free © Central Institute of Technology 2011 Computers are available for study purposes, free of charge. Login using your user ID and password (date of birth). Bookings are for a maximum of 2 hours per day – no pre-bookings.

10. Group Study Rooms © Central Institute of Technology 2011 There are 6 bookable study rooms. To book one ask at the Library Service desk. Bookings are for 3 hours maximum.

11. Printing/Photocopying Station © Central Institute of Technology 2011 This is the station where you print or photocopy using your Student ID/Library card. Costs - Black & White A4 = 15c A3 = 30c Costs - Colour A4 = $1.00 A3 = $2.00

12. Adding Credit to your Card © Central Institute of Technology 2011 To photocopy or print, credit needs to be added to your card. Instructions for doing this are outlined on the chart on the coin machine.

13. Search the Library Catalogue © Central Institute of Technology 2011 There are 2 terminals dedicated for searching the Library catalogue to find resources. Remember to limit your search to Perth campus.

14. Reference Collection © Central Institute of Technology 2011 The Library maintains a comprehensive Reference Collection. It contains a selection of encyclopaedias, dictionaries and atlases. They are not for loan.

15. Journal/Magazine Collection © Central Institute of Technology 2011 Back issues of journals/magazines are stored in boxes. They may be borrowed for 4 weeks.

17. General Collection © Central Institute of Technology 2011 Each item is given a call number based on its subject matter so similar items are shelved together. The call number is printed on the spine to help you find it on the shelf. Relevant call numbers for events students: 394; 647; 658

18. DVD Collection © Central Institute of Technology 2011 We are a large DVD collection – many are course related, others are for entertainment. DVDs are available for 7 day loans.
