1 Managing in Africa Cape Town 15 th to 18 th November 2010

2 What’s it About? Join us for an intensive three-day management conference with 16 hours of training, three information sessions, intensive Q & A sessions, as well as relaxational outings to Langa and Stellenbosch The topics to cover are goal setting, optimising team work and efficiency, being more assertive, delegation techniques, cultural diversity, gender and generational differences, stress and time management, benchmarking and accountability Candidates will be provided with all course material and will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence on the final day. All accommodation and 3 meals per day will be provided along with the necessary refreshments. Transport will be provided for the excursions as well as for those delegates who are on the Full Package. All other transfers and transport will be for the delegates' own account.

3 Who Should Attend All middle and newly promoted managers as well as supervisors and team leaders who are keen to create structure and measurable growth in their departments, branches or companies. With 10 years experience in training of South African middle management, Staff Training pride themselves on keeping it real. In this wonderfully diverse country we are challenged to understand various approaches and theories with regard to management, and not only to apply these, but to apply them with a “twist” or a slant, enabling and promoting practical outcomes. To achieve this dynamic approach, it is essential that team leaders, supervisors and middle management are continually at the forefront, challenging their own preconceptions and exploring new avenues.
