A biome is a large geographical area, with a lot of community's of animals.

The annual average rainfall is 30 centimeters per year. The altitude is low -12, high 10. The Alpine and Artic biome cover 16% of the earth’s surface.

Producers- pine trees, edelweiss, dwarf orchid, glacier buttercup/they all reproduce by making seeds.

Consumer- is an organism that eats food. Herbivore- is an organism that eats plants. Carnivore- is an organism that eats meat. Omnivores- is an organism that eats animals and plants.

Decomposer- break down dead plants and animals. 2 decomposers- bacteria, fungi/ they get rid of wastes.

The majority of the animals in the alpine biome are warm blooded animals, such as the Alpaca, the Llama, the Chinchilla, and the Snow Goat. The alpine biome is one of the coldest biomes out of all of the biomes.
