5. 1.Pilot groups (Grades 5 and 7)will receive a Google Apps for Education account. 2.Students will NOT have access to email application, nor will the username work like an email address. 3.Students will be able to access their account from any Chromebook in the school as well as from other devices.  Professional development training will be ongoing in order to achieve seamless integration in the curriculum.

Use the Google CHROME BROWSER (which is free to download from the Internet) on a home computer. 5.Students are held accountable to the school's Acceptable Use Policy for this school-issued account. 6.Students will receive instruction on how to use Google Chromebooks and Google Drive. 7.Use of technology is a privilege and not a right. Students are expected to exhibit digital responsibility while using technology. Failure to abide by the Acceptable Use Policy or damage of a Chromebook will result in loss of privileges and replacement of device.

Google Slides  Google Slides is an online presentation app that allows students to show work in a visual way.  Create group presentation and share.  No more passive watching of another student's PowerPoint, a presenter now shares the presentation. With a chat box open during the presentation and teacher monitoring, the whole class is involved in the presentation.  Insert images and videos into presentation.  Publish and embed presentations on a website.
