2. How to set up your Tigon Binder

3. Why do you need a Tigon Binder?  Our team is dedicated to promoting organization through a tested, proactive approach in line with college preparatory strategies to motivate and aid students in their quest for success. Why work harder…. ….when you can work SMARTER!

4. First you will need….  A heavy-duty 3-inch binder  5 dividers  5 x 1-subject notebooks  Pencil bag that fits into binder  Bartels Middle School Planner

5. Your Subjects  Insert the 5 dividers into your binder.  Label them in the following order. Language Arts Social Studies Math Science Electives

6. Behind each subject…  Add one spiral notebook (1- subject) behind each subject tab. This is where you will be doing your work for that class.

7. Now for your planner…  Your Bartels Planner goes in your binder too!  Put your planner in front of your Language Arts tab.

8. Last, but not least….  Insert your pencil pouch in front of your planner.

9.  Pencils  Black, Blue, & Red Pens  Small pack of colored pencils  Small calculator  4 thin highlighters  2 glue sticks Your pencil pouch should contain:

10. CONGRATULATIONS!!!  YOUR TIGON BINDER IS COMPLETE!

11. What do I do with my Tigon Binder?  You must bring this binder to every one of your classes daily, and it should also go home with you to do your homework.

12. A Breed Above the Rest…  Now that you’re armed with your Tigon Binder, you’re ready to take on the school year with a vengeance.

13. A Breed Above the Rest…  Remember- if you’re having trouble with keeping your binder organized, ask your teachers for help.
