Over the next two days you will make a flipbook that describes four ways you will act in order to become a better citizen at home, in the classroom, and in your community. I will be a good citizen at school by always using great manners! Good Citizenship Traits! By Ms. Martin May I please borrow your pencil? I will demonstrate mutual respect by including all my friends or classmates in games at recess. 1. The first flap will have the title, your name, a sentence about how to behave like a good citizen, and a picture. 2. There are three more flaps showing. Each flap will have a neatly written sentence about how you can be a good citizen at home, school, and in your community. 3. Each sentence should contain a different quality such as honesty, respect, responsibility, perseverance, and problem solving. 4. After you've completed all the writing bring your flipbook to the teacher for editing before you illustrate your book.
