Questi verbi non possono essere usati al PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS. Per esprimere la forma di durata devo usare il PRESENT PERFECT. ESEMPIO: Lo conosco da un anno. I HAVE BEEN KNOWING him for a year. BE I HAVE KNOWN him for a year. HAVE (solo quando vuol dire avere) BELIEVE WANT LOVE HEAR KNOW LIKE SEE HATE UNDERSTAND

THE DURATION FORM Con alcuni verbi come WORK o LIVE posso usare sia il PRESENT PERFECT CONTINOUS che il PRESENT PERFECT ESEMPI: Lavoro in questa scuola da due anni. I HAVE BEEN WORKING in this school for two years. I HAVE WORKED in this school for two years. Maria vive a Londra da sei mesi. Maria HAS BEEN LIVING in London for six months. Maria HAS LIVED in London for six months.
