3. Name the capital city. The capital city of Iceland is Reykjavik, which is 103,000 km sq. (Michael Powell) Reykjavik means Smokey Bay. Reykjavik is the world’s northernmost capital city and the nearest capital to the Arctic Circle. It is also one of the smallest.

4. Name the River that runs through the city The largest river that runs through Reykjavik is called the Ellioaa River. This river cannot be used by ships, but is one of the best salmon fishing rivers in the country. ( Abdullah and Selene )
