The students that will be active on my caseload will be referred due to academic and/or classroom behavioral problems at home. Some of the other issues may include loss, abandonment, divorce or financial stress. During the school year I will be responsible for providing weekly individual and group sessions with the clients that I serve and I will also work with the family members in order to assist with the stabilization of the home environment. I will act as a support to the family and refer to outside community resources as needed. This a voluntary program that I must obtain parent/caregivers consents to receive services. My office hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 am-4:00 pm and can be reached through the main office at Southern Elementary. Thank you”.. Let’s have a great 2012-2013 school year! OCTOBER MEMBERSHIP NEWS: We had a very successful October membership drive and are happy to welcome 16 new Southern parents and teachers to the PTA. A special congratulations to Mrs Nichols's class in B-13 & Mrs. Delaney's class in Y- 10 for winning the trick- or-treat sweets bags for highest number of new members from their classrooms.
