3. Element We Use In PAP  Soekris Router (4 Port)  Netgear Switch (24 port)  Access Controller(2 port)  Gateway  Nodes

Soekris Router  Hardware we use is Soekris  Software we use is vyatta  This has 4 ports  Normally we use Eth3 and Eth2 as Input for router  We use Etho as output port  We don’t have our own Cabling through out India, Hence we go for bandwidth drop from other ISP  We have Reliance and Aircel links in our circuits

5. Pictorial representation of the same  Here We have Reliance in ETH3 and Aircel in ETH2  ETH0 is the Lan port  ISP link may be in RF or Ethernet drop

8. Interface configuration In the shown router we configure Eth3 with Reliance ip and Eth2 with Aircel ip Etho we configure it with Lan segment (192.168.1.1&192.168. 2.1) Nating is done for this.

9. Switch Second device we use is switch, We can imagine a switch as a multiplexer. Single input multiple output Managed Switch We give an ip, username and Password

10. Here in switch we divide the Internet coming from Eth0 to Gateway and Access controller For this we create different Vlan VLAN:1 VLAN:4 VLAN:10
