3. Garfield Graphics included with kind permission from PAWS Inc. All Rights Reserved. Where to put the files If you want sound files to be played you have to save them in a folder and then put your PowerPoint in that folder.

If it is trying to access them from elsewhere you will find that as soon as you try to play the PowerPoint on a different computer it will not be able to find the files!

5. Garfield Graphics included with kind permission from PAWS Inc. All Rights Reserved. Choose ‘Insert’, then ‘Movies and Sounds’ Then ‘Sound from File’. You have to navigate to the file you want to insert (you should have put that in your folder). It needs to be a wav or mp3

This sound plays as soon as I open the page If you wish it to do that - it is a good idea to put the sound graphic out of the way…. Like I have done! (top left)… You can also resize the sound graphic to make it less obtrusive – or even add an autoshape to camouflage it!

Right click and the menu appears. Click here
