Process Improvement /New Products Manager (Wound Care) Scope of the role The position is designed to have the management of professionals that includes a group of Engineers and wages responsible to the process improvement, waste control and the coordination of the development and introduction of new products in North America, at the manufacturing sites of the Wound Care area. From the Process Improvement side, the Manager has to lead the Engineers and Facilitating team to meet the goals of the manufacturing sites as OEE2, Waste, Quality Holds and EH&S throughout the implementation of projects demanded from the Plants (TAGs), Planning, Quality, EH&S, Development Engineering, TA, Packaging TA, Cost Improvement (War on Cost Projects) and P&D. Manage the Total Productivity of the processes is key to achieve the outputs required to attend our customers demand in a timely, quality and costly manner. This position will lead the “Improvement Pillar” of the consumer site by developing the Engineers to upgrade the efficiency grade of the plants and process within the company. By leading the “Improvement Pillar”, the manager has to coach the Engineers and the Technical coordinator, challenge new behaviors, keep the pillar connected to the company leadership, assure the link with the company strategies, seek innovation at processes and recognize people. The Project Manager has to guarantee flawless execution of new product development and introduction balancing speed to market, at the right cost, delivering consumer & customer requirements while in full compliance supporting business profitable growth PMO leadership must also consider the communication and alignment with supply chain strategy, complexity management and long term planning in order to guarantee excellence in new product introduction management. Oversee and accelerate the execution and delivery of multiple product development projects, from stages 3 to 4 of NPDI process in North America, insuring the participation and alignment of all areas involved through a cross-functional team. Roles and Responsibilities Manage cross-functional teams responsible for the successful completion of multiple product development projects Track and conduct performance reviews of the multiple projects under his/hers responsibilities Keep management updated on project progress (schedule, cost and compliance), barriers to implementation and risks, with the corresponding corrective actions and mitigation plan Assist area manager in the consistent deliver of projects on time, within budget and according to quality specification Work closely and collaboratively with area personnel in accomplishing project objectives Ensure that projects are initiated, planned, executed, controlled and closed according to project management methodology Develop lessons learned for continuous improvement of new product launch process, launch cycle to launch cycle Ensure consistent continuous improvement of project management methodology and tools Requirements A minimum of Bachelor degree in Engineering A minimum of 7 years of manufacturing or quality processes Desirable project management experience Demonstrated success in managing of multiple projects Evidence of leadership in coordinating multiple projects of successful completion TPM / EHS knowledge Fluent English is required Local/Organization São José dos Campos J&J do Brasil How to apply Internal Candidates - Our Source: Minhas Informações>Minhas Ações>Minhas Oportunidades de Carreira> Acessar Minhas Oportunidades Profissionais External candidate - www.jnjbrasil.com.br/talentos or www.careers.jnj.comwww.jnjbrasil.com.br/talentoswww.careers.jnj.com The position will be posted until December-17th Band salary – 30
