The English object is the Spanish subject, so if one thing hurts you, the verb is singular in Spanish. Doler Me duele(n) Te duele(n) Le duele(n) Nos duele(n) Os duele(n) Les duele(n) Me duele la cabeza. – I have got a headache. If more than one thing hurts you, the verb is plural in Spanish.
