Africa Regional Workshop on Article 6 of UNFCCC EDUCATION Formal and Non-Formal Education The Department of State for Education and the National Environment Agency are the lead institutions in this regard

Africa Regional Workshop on Article 6 of UNFCCC EDUCATION Formal Education: The NEA organizes school competitions at the primary and secondary levels and winners are presented with awards to encourage participation in climate change competitions

Africa Regional Workshop on Article 6 of UNFCCC TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING UNFCCC Focal Point trained members of the NCC in climate change issues such as greenhouse gas inventories, mitigation options, vulnerability and adaptation assessment, climate change strategy and action plan development

Africa Regional Workshop on Article 6 of UNFCCC PUBLIC AWARENESS Participatory Sensitization Workshops held in all the six administrative divisions Main stakeholders include Fishermen, woodcutters, blacksmiths, palm wine tappers, etc. Grass roots identified problems with possible solutions
