JCPS – Computer Education Support: February 25, 2011 How to access and navigate the Infinite Campus Portal This presentation is a demonstration of the Infinite Campus Portal with a snapshot of each screen. For a description of the details of each part of the portal, please go to the “Navigating the Parent Portal” document located on the Campus Portal Help page. 4. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Click on the [Green] Parent Portal Acceptable Use Policy button.

5. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Read ALL Terms and click I agree

6. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal You are rerouted to the Parent Portal Page. The [Green] Parent Portal Acceptable Use Policy is gone. Click on the [Blue] “See my student’s profile (Infinite Campus)” button.

7. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Enter Portal Activation Key or Log On If you already have a username and password, logon here. If you don’t have a password but were given a portal activation key, click here. If you’ve forgotten your password, click here and it will be sent to the email address you have on file.

8. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal New Users: The next few slides explain the steps you would go through if you were given a portal activation key and need to set up your portal account. Enter 32 Digit Activation Key and click Submit.

9. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal New Users Enter the User Name and Password you have decided to use and click Create Account. *You password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 1 number or symbol.

10. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal New Users The following screen displays. Select “Click here” to be redirected to the portal logon page. Enter your username and password and click Log In. 1. 2.

11. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Portal Homepage If you have more than one child that attends JCPS, you’ll need to click on Switch Student and select the child whose information you would like to view.

12. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Calendar The Calendar shows assignments that are due and student absences or tardies.

13. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Schedule The schedule is where you can view the student’s schedule and their Gradebook if the teacher uses the Campus Gradebook.

14. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Attendance If you click on the day of a student’s absence, their attendance details display.

15. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Health This screen displays a student’s updated immunization records.

16. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Assessment This screen displays a student’s assessment scores.

17. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Transportation This screen displays the student’s transportation information.

18. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal To Do List This screen displays a student’s upcoming or overdue assignments. It will only display for teachers that are using the Infinite Campus Gradebook.

19. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Reports This screen displays reports such as missing assignment, student schedule, report card, or transcripts available to print.

Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Family > Messages The Messages option displays any announcements published by the district or by your child’s school When you click on anything under family, it takes you off the student record and into the first page you saw when going into the Portal.

21. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Family > Family Members The Family Members page shows all members of this household and includes relationships, where they are enrolled, address, phone numbers and email.

22. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Family > Calendar The Calendar page shows all attendance (absences) and assignments due for your children.

23. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Family > To Do List The To Do List under Family shows all assignments coming up or overdue for all children at JCPS.

24. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal User Account > Change Password On this screen you can change your portal password.

25. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal User Account > Contact Preferences This is where you can enter/change your email address.

26. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal User Account > Access Log This screen shows your Portal Login attempts.

27. Jefferson County Public Schools – Campus Portal Home/Sign Out The Home (Picture of house) icon in the upper right takes you to the same page you saw when you logged into the portal. Click the Sign Out link to Exit the Portal.
