2 ME AND MY KEY PAL My name is Ammar. I am 16 years old and live in Belkas, Dakahlia, Egypt. I can speak Arabic. I study English as a foreign language and it is my favourite subject. I have black hair and black eyes. I love playing football and watching football matches. My key pal is Michael. He is 16 years old and lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He can speak English and a little Japanese.  His favorite subject is World Geography (11th grade). He has black hair and brown eyes.  He likes to play sports, especially baseball.  He also likes to listen to music.  

3 In Our Beloved Egypt and our beloved Islamic countries we have Eid al-Adha  . We slaughter the animals such as buffalo meat, sheep then we guides it the needy people . Such as our religion taught . And we have the first Parliament elections after our blessed revolution . My father is one of the Candidate of "Freedom And Justice Party" in the elections . In America they have two major holidays coming up.  The first is Halloween on October 31.  Halloween first started with the Celts celebrated their new years eve on the 31st.  They would dress up and have a great celebration.  Children dress up in costumes and go around from house to house to try and get candy and other treats.

4 Here in Egypt We celebrate the memory of glorious October victory It's on 6th October . It is the memory of our victory in the war against Israel in This day is a symbol of freedom in Egypt. The other big holiday is Thanksgiving, celebrated on November 24 This holiday started when the Pilgrims (people who came to America for religious freedom) invited the Native Americans to a great feast. This was a symbol of peace and brotherhood. Michael celebrates Thanksgiving by inviting family and friends for turkey and other foods.

5 In America, they have a mix of foods from different countries
In America, they have a mix of foods from different countries.  Italian, Mexican, and Chinese are very popular.  Most American foods are derived from another country.   Here in Egypt we have a little mix too The Egyptian food here is the most popular thing .I like Egyptian Beans . here it's called :"Foul and Felafel“. My favorite native dish is Mahshi and Mlokhya :)

6 We have a school trip to Alexandria. I love this city a lot
We have a school trip to Alexandria . I love this city a lot . We can take a lot of photographs in "Citadel of Qaitbay" . We can breathe fresh air in "The Alexandria Park Garden" . At last we can have much time to play and have a lot of fun in "Amusement Park" . There is another one called "Dream Park" in Cairo . Michael likes to go to the Sky wheel, which is a 200ft Ferris wheel. He also likes to go to  Berky's, which is a restaurant that has good hamburgers and hotdogs. He also likes to play mini-golf.

7 I live in Belqas it's a city near Mansoura
I live in Belqas it's a city near Mansoura . It's in the country so here you can see green lands and beautiful landscapes. The best thing about living here is my family and my friends who are the best friends in the world. Our country has a lot of landmarks and places , if you want something historical you can visit the pyramids or temples in Luxor. If you want something modern you can visit Cairo Tower or go shopping in malls. And for people who like nature like you ,you can visit Sinai or Aswan . Michael has something similar called Brookgreen Gardens.  Brookgreen Gardens is a beautiful place.  It is like a museum, in the sense that it has sculptures, artwork, wildlife in their natural habitat, and great history.   Michael thinks that Brookgreen Gardens is even a National Landmark.  It is only thirty minutes from where he lives, so he has been there many times.  He used to take field trips there when he was younger.

8 I had won Republic in poetry. And Histrionics too
I had won Republic in poetry . And Histrionics too . I had The first position on fourth grade of primary too . My father is famous in our town because he is A candidate in parliamentary elections . And he is a very active Political activist . Michael’s greatest achievement would probably have to be making A honor role at his school. He hopes to get Principle Honor role this year, which is have straight A's all year.  

9 I love Egypt very much. Egypt is a beautiful country
I love Egypt very much. Egypt is a beautiful country. We have a lot of monuments. Egypt has good weather. People of Egypt are generous. After our revolution people is very happy but we must work hard to show all of the world how the Egypt is . Michael guesses that is what he likes about America. Americans have a little mix of everything.
