6 NCAA/NAIA Eligibility
Apply at the end of Junior year. Earn a minimum 2.3 GPA Register online at: (NCAA) (NAIA) $80 fee required for NCAA and NAIA Print completed registration form for your records Need to request Official Transcript Send SAT/ACT scores to NCAA Print and submit transcript release form to Mrs. Brisky.

8 Community College Graduate High School
All Seniors participate in College Application Day where they will complete an application for Community College AB19-California College Promise

Course Requirements (A-G) History/Social Science - 2 years English - 4 years Math - 3 years required, 4 recommended Lab Science - 2 years (1 life, 1 physical) World Language - 2 years of same language Visual/Performing Arts - 1 Year College Preparatory Elective - 1 Year Testing Requirements SAT/ACT Eligibility Index Combination of Testing Score and GPA.

10 University of California (UC)
Course Requirements (A-G) History/Social Science - 2 years English - 4 years Math - 3 years, 4 Recommended Lab Science - 2 years, 3 Recommended World Language - 2 years, 3 Recommended Visual/Performing Arts - 1 Year Required College-Prep Elective - 1 Year Required 11 A-G courses completed before senior year. Testing Requirements Must take SAT or SAT with Writing SAT Subject Test only required for specific Programs and Majors. GPA Minimum 3.0

12 PSAT PSAT is a Practice Test for the SAT
On average, students who take the PSAT do better on the SAT Tests are only given once in October Cost for the PSAT is $19 May be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Competition (Junior year only)

14 CART provides students an opportunity to earn 20 credits
4 classes per semester CART classes are college preparatory and most are UC approved CART students receive English and Technology credits in all labs some labs earn Science or Social Science credits. Some CART labs offer opportunities to earn college credits through agreements with CSU Fresno and SCCCD.

15 CART is for any junior or senior from CUSD or FUSD Students must have:
Regular attendance C or better in Math 1, Biology, and 2 years of english Some programs require additional prerequisites. CART offers two sessions AM Session 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. PM Session 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

16 How to apply to CART CART accepts students through a lottery process
Applications for the following year are available starting on December 1st. Students apply online, selecting their top three choices and then counselors send transcripts and approval to CART To be considered in the lottery, applications and transcripts must reach CART by February 14, 2020. Clovis West field trip to CART is on November 21, 2019.

17 Careers in Technical Education (CTE)
CTE courses are available to all CUSD 11th and 12th grade students. Clovis West CTE offers: Careers in Education (With English P) Theater Production P (With English P) Small Business Management Business and Finance (EECU) Systems Diagnostics, Service, and Repair (Auto) CTE Night March 17th, 2020 CTE Recruitment - January 14th, 2020

Building teams to compete in Hotrodders of Tomorrow Breaking ground on new Heavy Duty Diesel and Electric Truck Facility Considered a STEM pathway, preparing students for careers in Transportation.
