1 HOW TO START SHARING FILES ON GOOGLE DRIVE WITH YOUR RIT ACCOUNT

2 Two ways to access Google Drive @ RIT
Type in your RIT username and include at the end Log in with your RIT credentials. Redirect to

3 If its your first time accessing RIT GDrive

4 Create a folder or a file By right-clicking on the blank canvas

5 Right-click on a folder or a file and select “Share” in the menu

6 Click “Advanced” to get more options

7 Link-sharing options Four file-sharing options
Two options requires using Google Search Engine (not recommend) Two options requires choosing your audience, either the world or RIT-only.

8 Grant access to specific individuals
Enter RIT or Gmail addresses of individuals you want to share with Select access type and click “Send” If you are sending to a non-RIT , click “Yes” 1. Invited individuals will receive an notification of the shared access.

9 Consider your audience (Pros & Cons)
