Maintain small class size
meet state mandate for PE and Recess
Provide a double math period for 6th grade
Allow for time equality in specials
deliver consistency to optimize instruction and learning.
Offer common planning time daily for all academic staff

Grades 4 & 5 attended specials by homeroom
Health taught by classroom teacher (except for 4th grade)
PE/H totaled of 120 minutes + recess (30 minutes) to meet 150 mandate

Grades 4 & 5 will attend specials mixed with other homerooms
K-6 health will be taught by a certified Health/PE teacher
PE/H , Grade 1-6 will total 150 minutes (state mandate no longer allows utilizing recess time) + zero period for mindfulness activities 2 days a week for each grade level. (See our Homepage Zero Period Schedule under “Quick Links.”)

Under Stevenson’s Homepage, “Quick Links,” Homeroom specials' cycle schedule, as well as the PE/H schedule, can be found.
Churchill student’s will have a copy of their schedule to obtain their cycle and PE/H information.

Friendly reminder, in the event school needs to close, (I.E. Day 2), the next day school reopens, the schedule will pick up on the day we closed (I. E. Day 2).
