Receives application from WTCC and JCC Conducts Level 2 screening (WIOA and Finish Line Grant eligibility) Makes recommendation (approval or denial) of the application Sends official with approval or denial of request

15 Referring to NCWorks Career Center
NCWorks Career Center staff (NCWCCS) are on rotation to be available for student appointments Capital Area Workforce Development (CAWD) processes referrals from Wake Tech and JCC CAWD s NCWCCS for appointment date and time. The appointment is confirmed with NCWCCS. CAWD s the appointment confirmation to student(s) and copies the designated NCWCCS. Within the body of the , CAWD includes documents required during the appointment. I.e. Identification Card, Social Security Card, and school transcripts

16 NCWorks Role in Finish Line
NCWCCS provides an overview of all NCWorks services. NCWCCS completes the Wagner Peyser and WIOA Enrollments tagging the customer with the FLG Activity Code. Individual Employment Plans are created. The applicant’s financial hardship payments are processed.
