Below are some simple instructions on how to use this template:
1. You can change the text in the graphical screen above or in the outline area to the left. 2. There is one default background that is indicated by “ ” .This slide acts as a space or a blank screen, use to clear or blank the screen. If you have a large graphic such as a map you could also use this screen. If you insert a new slide you will get this default background.
3. The first five slides have the other backgrounds for the set. To use more than one of these background types in your presentation highlight the one you wish to use and choose copy from the edit menu. Paste this slide where you want it to appear in your presentation, then change the text on this new slide. By copy/pasting the slide in this manor you will keep the background, text formatting and the customized animation from that slide. By using the copy/paste method you find it saves you time and keeps a consistent look through out your presentation.
4.There are a few additional notes written in the slide text wording that may be helpful.

10. The Contrast! Prov 7:25, “Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways (Satan’s Cosmic System), do not stray into her paths (sin and evil).

11. Those who are hard headed, refusing to listen to God’s Word, will find themselves wandering lost inside of sin and Satan’s Cosmic System.

12. Those who respond in obedience to God’s Word will find themselves back on the path of righteousness that they had left.

13. Unit 2, vs. 18-21, The Contrasting Deeds of the Tongue!

14. Prov 10:18 “Operation Cover Up”, the ultimate in hypocrisy, where the wicked will say one thing to your face and another behind your back to others, Cf. Prov 26:24-26.

15. Hatred often underlies hypocrisy, “lying lips”, and those who hate often invent or pass on bad news in order to destroy someone’s reputation, opportunities, or both.

16. “Slander”, DIBBAH דִּבָּה “The utterance of defamatory statements injurious to the reputation or well being of a person.”

17. Hatred inspires slander informed by innuendoes, half-truths, and facts distorted and exaggerated beyond recognition, cf. Prov 6:17, 19

18. Once slander, etc. is released it can not easily be negated and causes all kinds of problems for the object of the slander and the slanderer himself.

19. Prov 25:10, “Or he who hears it will reproach you, and the evil report about you will not pass away.”

20. The 9th of the 10 Commandments of Ex 20:16, prohibits false testimony since the people of God are to demonstrate His truthfulness in their dealings with others.

21. The fool of Proverbs is cunning and morally wicked, not mentally deficient, who destroys reputations and the community, doing no one any good.

22. Prov 10:19 “Unavoidable” LO CHADAL, חָדַל When there is a lot of gossiping in our lives it is very difficult to stop sinning in that way. It is the habitual nature of sin.

23. Prov 29:20, “Do you see a man who is hasty in his words
Prov 29:20, “Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.”

24. The contrast of the righteous
The contrast of the righteous! Restraining your speech and keeping your mouth shut is wise, Job 7:11; Prov 17:27. The exercise of self-control over you mouth.

25. Job 7:11, “Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.”

26. “Restraining lips” means not wandering into error both physically and spiritually by keeping our mouth in check, sparing ourselves from performing the evil actions of the sins of the tongue.

27. “Wise” SAKAL, שָׂכַל To be prudent, having the know-how to succeed in an endeavor and to obtain a desired result.

28. The desired result is to glorify God by operating in His righteousness, thereby not committing sins of the tongue.

29. Prov 17:27-28, “He who restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding. 28Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.”

30. The more words a person says the less able he is to weigh each word, and the greater the probability that he will offend someone.
