This Week’s Focus
Reading
This week students will be reading a informational text titled, Abraham Lincoln. Students will practice the comprehension skill of identifying the author’s purpose. They will also learn proper nouns and contractions.
Writing
Students will be learning to write a short biography. They will write about a real person’s life. (We will be doing this whole group.)
Math
Students will continue to practice addition and subtraction strategies. We will also be learning fact families and how to use fact triangles.

Fall Break: October 10th-14th. *Reminder no shorts after Fall Break**
Picture Day: Tuesday October 18th
Walk-a-thon: Friday October 7th. Cline is asking that each child try to raise at least $ Thank you for your support.
