1) Solid and VERY dense! (made from IRON and NICKEL)

6. OUTER CORE:
1) Liquid layer surrounding the INNER CORE

1) Made of the lower part of the MANTLE
2) Reaches from the bottom of the ASTHENOSPHERE to the CORE

8. ASTHENOSPHERE:
1) A ‘plastic’ layer of the MANTLE
2) Pieces of the LITHOSPHERE move because the ASTHENOSPHERE moves underneath
