1 Advocating Like a Boss Presented by Joyce Cade-Hitchye

2 Advocating Like a Boss Why should I advocate?
Is there a problem that you have faced or are facing? Do you just want to see improvement on issues facing your community?

3 Reasons why you should not advocate:

4 Personal Story:

5 Of Impact Our mission is to provide all Veterans
regardless of their discharge resources. We are focused in providing resources toward education, employment, health, and transportation. We do this for Veterans and their families through events, programs, public awareness and shared resources.

6 According to the VA website:
22 Veterans a day commit suicide. Michigan is number 11 in the amount of Veterans in its communities. Michigan is number 48 in obtaining benefits for these Veterans. There once was a soldier who came back home. She felt lonely and all alone. She felt sad. She felt blue. She decided there was something she had to do. So she co-founded Of Impact to serve her fellow Vets. She wanted to make sure that their individual needs were being met.
