1 Hardware needs (ARCS) Current ARCS capabilities at both sites should be able to keep up with production assuming software changes Automatic I-V curves, xml file generation, configuration files After M800 production, hybrid thermal cycler needed at UCSB (with the necessary ARCS components) External interlocks, PS, etc. very homebrew and will take significant effort of Sam Burke to complete Mechanical structure begun in machine shop FNAL will need full ARCS capabilities at similar time Components from Aachen 3 ARC clamshells in queue in machine shop

2 Hardware needs (DAQ) Assume for near term that FED-MUX software lacking, so maximum of 4 modules can be tested in Vienna box Due to FED-MUX software problems, rod assembly stands will initially need 2 FED each

3 Hardware needs (4 slot burn-in)
Power LV distribution ready (both PS and crate) HV system just integrated LT software CAEN A1303  CAEN A128 HS  CAEN A332 Electrometers at both sites Needs to make LIMO-to-DI/O cable adapter PC boards 4 PCI + 1 ISA + ethernet +1 com port UCSB has computer, not sure about FNAL All DAQ PC boards in hand All stand-alone boards in hand except for hybrid-to-vutri version D 3 in-hand (also needed for ARCS); Expect delivery of ~10 in 2-3 weeks

4 Hardware needs (4 slot burn-in) cont
Cold box infrastructure 2 Vienna cold boxes in hand Final modifications for leak tightness and interlock underway Only 1 of 2 Torino interlock boxes available Schedule for second set not clear Both sites have necessary external chillers Set of 10 cold box plates for both sites in UCSB machine shop See Patrick Gartung’s talk at tracker week for details

5 Hardware needs (Rod Assembly)
Rod assembly hardware in less stable situation Many assembly jigs/tools in very preliminary stages Rod assembly rotation table, rod handling tool and all other tools should be shipped with a rod to UCSB soon Testing electronics for rods in similar situation Power LV power supplies from CERN late Expect in 2-3 months Need to order CAEN HV PC controllers (A1303) for both sites Need 2 Electrometers per site to measure HV current accurately VERY difficult to get

6 Hardware needs (Rod Assembly)
PC boards Now need 5 PCI slot + 1 ISA slot +ethernet + COM port + LV DI/O card (if necessary) Neither site has such a computer 1 TSC 2 FED 2 OEC (SS4 rods only) 2 DI/O cards

7 Hardware needs (Rod Assembly)
To get first site read-out rods need the following hardware 1 LV PS 1 A1303 CAEN controller 1 PC (5 PCI + 1 ISA + ethernet + 1 com + LV DI/O (maybe)) 2 Electrometers 1 DI/O card 1 OEC LV PS, A1303, PC, and electrometers all may be long lead time items.
